I meant to post yesterday that I was unable to log in with my original details, but I was able to use the same username as before when I re-subscribed(??) to it...
It seems to have a few more glitches now, and it seems like it can be more CPU hungry than the first incarnation - not to mention the time delay in one of my streets being bought (and built on) before my profile had updated... I even tried signing out and back in again, but that just seemed to confuse it more, as it got confused about the number of streets I owned and the amount I had in 'cash'... I signed out, left it for 5-10 minutes and it had just about caught up....
I then got curious about buying something in Venice, but that's when it all just locked up for another 5-10 minutes, causing IE(8) to hang...
Never mind, I'm back in the game...!

I've noticed many of the same issues, the game is lagging big time when buying, building or searching for streets and I could never get the game to load in IE8.

It's like that in FF too. I think it's just massive server overload...
I'm up to slightly over 10mill a day in rent money. Got my main streets protected, and on the hunt for more property now. |

Finally... I had been hit with 4 hazard buildings on major roads, and it took me 3 days of buying and building to get chance cards... Though I got lucky and snagged 3 bonus buildings today... still looking for a couple more to protect some other streets, but at least I should be making almost $1M more per day in rent.

Some tips I found out;
Buy a larger street, country preferred. You get more properties tax free.
The country streets get higher rents for the same building. Saw some small 50k "Country Cottages" with rent of 24k and some with rent 94k. Is it diffrent with the big bldgs. in a city?
Multi protect your high value/rent streets. Till you fill it up then no one can build a hazzard.
When you get your 5 tax free base done and full, sell the little bldgs. and build bigger for more tax free/protected rent. The cost to rent ratio goes down as the bldg. size goes up but, they are tax free and protected.
Any other hints/suggestions to share? |

Go for longer streets, they cost more at first, but you can build more on them.
Build up the streets you already own first before buying more, otherwise the taxes will get to you.
Don't piss anyone off that has more money/property then you. It comes back to bite you.
Don't load up all your buildings on one street, especially till you get them hazard protected, or you just asking for a sabotage. |

Does it help for rent to build diffrent types of bldgs or more bonus bldgs.?
Does it matter what types of bldgs. you build on a certain street? Say cottages in rural streets and mega bldgs. in a city? |
