Report: DDoS Attack Targets Amazon Cloud
Amazon.com's Elastic Compute Cloud was reportedly the recent target of a distributed denial of service attacked that - again, reportedly - contributed to a multiple hour disruption of Bitbucket, which relies upon the cloud computing service's Elastic Block Store feature for network data storage.
"The lesson here is: 'Don't bet the farm on a single cloud provider,'" says Craig Balding, founder of cloudsecurity.org and a security practitioner at a Fortune 500 company. "It's common sense really. But people get lulled into thinking they site is always going to be available [when they host with a single provider]."

I saw this link from Living in the Cloud with Chrome OS
I know radioreference.com runs from Amazon's cloud services. They must have went down too back then.
