Amazon.com Considering Retail Stores?
Industry insiders suggest Amazon.com could be interested in opening brick-and-mortar retail store locations, possibly starting in the United Kingdom, though the Internet e-commerce giant is actively denying the rumors.
However, Amazon has scotched rumours of a high street invasion. "We have no plans to open physical stores anywhere in the world," a company spokesperson told the Press Association.
