Verizon Motorola Droid 2.0.1 Update Goes Live
Verizon has reportedly starting pushing out the recently announced version 2.0.1 update for the popular Motorola Droid smartphone.
In brief, this looks like bug-fix nirvana with improved stability and battery life, better camera and call quality, faster visual voicemail, and a host of other goodies....

Does the droid os push updates over the users data plan or do they update by plugging into a computer?

I do not have a Droid, but AFAIK, it is automatically pushed as an update. The Droid receives a notice, you click install, and the auto installer does its business. As to whether the update counts towards a data plan limit, I do not know.

Its currently an OTA (over the air) update.
You're required to have a full data plan, so there is no data plan limit
(assuming you're not tethering and consuming gigs a month)Helicopters don't fly; they vibrate so much and make so much noise that the earth rejects them.
