Intel's 2011 CPUs may require new motherboards
Not what most of you wanted to hear I know, but according to the article the next gen chips coming from Intel next year may indeed require a new motherboard
A new socket coming this quickly?? Damn that's harshBit-tech reports: Anonymous sources told the site that Intel's spiffy new CPU / GPU / memory controller integrations will use two new sockets, LGA-1155 and LGA-2011; if true, you'll need to buy a new motherboard to match.

And I thought those of us on Socket 1366 were screwed with the plethora of Quad cores that out performed the original i7's in most day to day tasks, on Socket 1156.
