    Privacy invasion!

I don't understand the online OS at all. There will always be a piece of software that has to run commands to do what it needs to do to run Chrome OS. I'd rather run some kind of solution at home in a NAT storage device myself. This is where Microsoft may head.

Google already knows a lot about everyone.

But I'll do my very best to lessen this and not use google chrome os.

I don't understand that response at all

But yeah anyways MS and Apple are both going the way of the cloud. So are many of the providers out there. Its not a bad idea if you constantly have an internet connection but what are you to do if you don't and don't have the option of a standard install. You'd be kinda screwed

I wonder if I can boot Win XP from a network drive and use it? I know you can PXE boot to install but to run the install would be neat.

Network boot isn't exactly the cloud but yeah you should be able to...heck I thought you could boot 2k from the network.
