Bump in case you missed the warning about Pioneer DVD burners having the potential to burn up if you use the new, faster media that will be available soon.

What's disconcerting about this is that Pioneer is a highly rated drive. I've been considering buying one myself.
I guess Pioneer will replace the units but how much other damage will they do to the system in addition to destroying themselves?
