IT is certainly depressed right now. Though according to Worth magazine, consumers will drive demand for IT products and companies will follow. When that is to be expected is up for debate. The article also pointed out there are many companies with 3-5 year old computers and software, and they will eventually need to upgrade all of that equipment or risk falling behind the competition. I think IT spending is going to turn around sometime this year or early next, and it's going to be an explosion when it happens.
