instant messanger help needed!

when I try and "direct connect" to my brother, it auto-accepts my connection. I do not know why, and I can't find a setting to turn that off.

as i'm sure you all can understand, this is an option that we would like disabled... can anyone help??

Presuming you are talking about AIM

Make AIM your active window and press F3
This will bring up your Preferences.
Down at the bootom of this you will see few things IM Talk IM Image ect...
go through these and change them to Display Approve Dialog box or to auto reject them.
