Intel's latest earnings posts were a little better than analyst expectations, so what effect, if any, do you think that might have on chip prices? I'm holding off on buying the processor since my system is still a work in progress, but I want to make sure I don't become a victim of a... price hike in order to make people buy the latest offerings ploy, or any of those kinds of marketing shenanegans (sp?).
Also, does anybody know of a website that monitors microprocessor price trends in real time?
