The Gainward GeForce3 PowerPack!!! Ti/500 “JUMBO” “Golden Sample”

Sounds like one hell of a card, but lets get serious about the name....(geez). The only thing missing is horns trumpeting every time you say it.

Not only that, but I find that the name itself is mis-leading. The card is going to use a TI 200 GPU, not a TI 500 GPU....so whats the deal? Am I the only one that sees a problem with this?

What are they going to call the next gen card that actually uses the TI 500 GPU? The Gainward GeForce3 PowerPack!!! Ti/800 “Mucho Grande” “Golden Sample” ???

Nice work Gainward on being first with a 128mb card.....your naming leaves a lot to be desired though.
Through the NIC, on the cat5, off the gateway router, out the cable modem...….nothin' but net.

I was wondering about the naming of the card myself. I am hoping that some of that stuff is just a "code name" that they are using internally, like "Palomino" for AMD and "Williamette" for Intel. If I see a box with all of that garbage on it in a store, I will lauge until the cows come home. Moo.......

When is this card coming out? I'm guessing alot of Geforce4s are going to have 128MB.
