Cray Supercomputer Finds Afterlife

Fascinating stuff, it's good that it's not just being broken up for scrap too.

From the description: Unit input: 30 amp 250V Plug.

I thought that it was 120v in the US?

The guy that has the high bid in on this one recently paid $50,000 for an Apple 1! Talk about a waste of money!!

All I can think of is that he is probably going to get a Cray supercomputer for less than he paid for an apple 1. Hmmmm...there has to be some irony in there somewhere!

The year is 2020 and a small child is overheard asking his mother, "Mommy, what is an Apple?"

Heh...bet It runs Descent pretty well. Wonder if it'll fit downstairs
