| AMD Releasing Athlon XP 2000 Plus
AMD IS THE BEST!!!
If Microsoft had put AMD in the X-Box I'm sure it would be without question THE best console around! Plus it would cost quite a bit less |

Don't get me wrong, but what a joke. for $233 you get the 1900 (1.6Ghz) $338 you get the 2000 (1.67Ghz) man for an extra 70 mhz that is steap. Still better then Intel though and always will be. |

Remember batmeat that AMD's MHz is not like Intel's.....
It would likely be a high performer... must have some
improvements... especially since it took awhile to get out there.... |

also u should rememrb when the XP chips came out.. they were set at a higher price.. but when they actualy hit the market.. and suppiers started buying in bulk the price dropped fast.. so don't think the 338 bucks will be around all that long.. not all stores have it listed yet.. so that is more then likely a estimated price.. and will drop..

The XP line ends in second half of 01. So that should be the last one according to the AMD road map. Tbred should be next. I wonder if they make a jump in frequency. Hopefully the FSB will get to 166Mhz. |
