i doubt there is'nt, but if there is, its probably because of the issues with static from carpeting..
(something like that was mentioned in a news posts not too long ago i think)

I wish I could give you more details...but I did see a brief referance to the XBox,related to widespread defects, yesterday on CNN...it whizzed by in print at the bottom of the screen as a headline, but I didn't catch the whole thing, and I haven't seen it repeated...I don't know if it said anything about a recall, but it was about reports of defects that are taking a loooong time to get properly serviced by MSloth...like there's a big backlog...
Apart from that- and I had to laugh - one friend of mine told me that someone he knew actually wound up with the "green screen of death" on their brand new XBox...it crashed and had to be unplugged to get it up again.
Long live the MS version of quality... |

SEATTLE, Washington (AP) -- Hundreds of people who bought Microsoft's hot new Xbox game console over the holidays received defective systems, and some say they waited for weeks before the devices were fixed.
Analysts said the number of flawed consoles is probably too small to spell serious production troubles, but said long repair times wouldn't help the software giant in its first major foray into hardware More |

Better watch out!! Someone that keeps saying playstation 2 rules is bound to make Sony start shipping out defective systems. It can happen to them also you know. |
