We’ve been holding down the fort hoping for an eventual turnaround. We viewed the shakeout occurring around the industry as a positive thing… after all, there are far too-many sub-standard sites around that simply deluge the arena with too much supply.
Unfortunately, we can’t perceive a turnaround in the foreseeable future, especially with the > 50% fall in traffic we suffered through our accident.
Though we served up seven million page views in November, SR’s gross income for the month was well below two-thousand dollars. Subtracting the costs of running the site (not even including labor) results in a considerable amount of red(ink).
SR is our passion; nevertheless, it’s time to move on.
