| Napster Launches Test of New Secure Service
Mark,
I agree it is too little too late, they want to charge and if you still won't be able to find a certain song or two on Napster. |

given how morpheus is moving over to the guntella platform (along with the kazaa network... see this thread), it would be next to impossible to shut morpheus down without disconnecting everyone from the net in general. |

Too late and why pay for a service that you can find better and for free elsewhere?

I think I'll sign up to be a beta tester. I don't want to miss out on this hot deal.

Too bad the RIAA is always 2 steps back from where everyone else is...while most internet users support sharing music, the RIAA is stuck back in the 70's trying to get people to stop copying music from their 8-track players by trying to control the market (unsuccessfully). They must have a cat-with-9-tails in each hand beating Napster down while not seeing the rest of the world ignoring their stupidity.
At least they are ignoring the rest of the world, too, and just focusing on poor ol' Napster. I don't miss either of them, since everyone else has moved to a better platform. |

Those poor people at Napster, they don't seem to want to believe that it's over.
RIP
