Interesting - this restored my faith in judicial system here in the US. It seems we have at least one judge that is sharp enough to realize that the Microsoft offer of $1 billion in software for public schools would actually increase their monopoly.
Yep. That piece of news brought a breath of relief.
The whole thing might just be the material that feeds cynical attitudes about the world, but at the very least, a judge recognizes and refuses to condone what is seen as a complete bribe coated in what looks like shallow charity.
its good to hear that there are some people in the legal system who are not total morons.. besides my aunt.. (shh, my bday is coming up in a few months.. )
