I use KMail pretty much because it's the one that came installed on my box

Kmail is fine, and does all I need.
Evolution looks great too but carries too much stuff with it.
I occasionally use pine too (easy and straightforward) especially when away and need to telnet to check email. |

I've used Netscape mail for years without any problems... right now using Netscape 6.2, the massive security problem called Outlook is a definite no-no. |

i happen to be a very happy outlook user. i like it's ease of use, intergrated calendar and interoperability with my palm pilot.
outlook is not a security threat if you're diligent and download all the patches for it and think before you go opening random email. |

I'm please with Outlook 2002. I'm diligent on all the security patches and I keep my virus definitions constantly up-to-date. |
