About three weeks ago I built myself a new system. I installed an ABIT AI7 motherboard into an Enermax CS-5688 case (in hunter green – my favorite color). The case was billed as having 2 USB 2.0 plugs in the front. The USB plug-in on the ABIT motherboard is 9 pin with one empty pin slot. The wires for the Enermax USB 2.0 have only five plugs (10 total if you include the 2 different sets of 5 plug cords – 1 from each USB port).
I’m think perhaps I should plug all ten plugs into the one of the nine pin combs but which one gets left out if that is the solution. Thought I would pick your brains first before I do anything.
Pentium 4 2.8 Gigahertz with 800 MHz FSB and HT
ATI Radeon 9600XT 128 Megabyte DDR
1 Gigabyte Corsair XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series DDR400
120 Gigabyte SATA 150 hard drive
Abit “AI7” Motherboard with the Intel 865 Chipset
Windows XP PRO
My next step is to take the system to 2 gigabytes and purchase a DVD burner.
