CRC Error during CD to HD transfer
Hi everybody,
I have CDs filled with movies (in DivX) that I can play with no problem from my DVD drive, but, if I try to copy to my hard disk,at the end of process an error message "CRC Error" appears and the AVI file disappear! Of course with other CDs with other DivX there are no problems, but it's very strange! What can I do? Are there possibilities to recover these CDs with these DivXs?
My OS is WinXP with AMD Athlon XP 2000+,512 MB RAM
Thanks,
Rob

the CD has some physical problems (scratch, damaged portion) or the file itself is corrupted unless it was working before when it was still new.
clean your CD and give it a try again.
