| Dell Dimension 2400- How much HD?
This is a different issue than my 120GB question, please leave 'em both open, mighty mods.
I can't find this info anywhere on Dell's site, or anywhere that google takes me. I remember when I got a 2350 last April Dell told me the biggest HD it could support was 160GB. I don't know if the 2400 is different. I've also read on Dell forums that they won't recognize anything above 137GB.. so would a partition solve that? Too much info here, but it might help?: Through some great deals, I've got a 120GB HD and 2 160GB HD's. I can't imagine ever needing this much space (unless a true dvd copy can be made), but it'd be great to never have to worry. I'd like to install the 2 160GB's, keep the stock 30GB for when I sell the computer, and gift/sell the 120GB.
My question: Does anyone know how big is too big for a Dell Dimension 2400 to recognize? |
