well, i finally found out why i have been getting so many virus mail lately... i am in the computer lab and i checked my email. i got an email from the the ITS people's email account. i figured since i am in the computer lounge, why not open it and see what it says (was unsure if it was a virus). i opened it and it said that the psu web people have noticed a large amount of virus riddled email leaving me computer and that i should run a virus check with the supplied norton antivirus available from the computer store. it also said, check the attatchment for more details. once again, on my computer i would have been quite concerned about opening any attatchment, but since i was on their computer, and it was coming from them, and they have a tendancy to use attatchments, i decided why not (it was a .txt file). so i go to open it and a white box appears and a pop up message says beagle.whatever it is virus was found and deleted.
so it wasnt my computer afterall, the server is infected....
