Win 95 IE 5.5 Toolbars wont load

Hi all,



I installed win 95 amd ie 5.5 on a older p 200 mmx box just for surfing, doing some work, etc... everything works fine, installed dun 1.4, y2k updates.. but i cannot get the quick launch toolbar to load. Where you would click on the grey space on the bottom in 98 to add quick launch or other toolbars, it does not happen here in 95. I see i have quick launch in windows microsoft application data, outlook express is sitting in there, how do i enable it?? do i need a some kind of service pack pack for 95? please help, my desktop icons and i thank you.

Maybe 95 doesnt support quick launch, and this is what i need. I never did see 95 with a quick launch before.. hmm

To load this on win95 I always used Ie4 Service pack 2. This loads active desktop and the quicklaunch bar. Then I loaded Ie5

I did exactly what u said, and it worked great! thanks alot, I would of thought a newer version of IE would just automatically install that for me, I had to Uninst. ie 5 then install ie 4 then reinstall ie 5, yeesh but hey, it works...
