Odd Noises Computer From Electric Sources

I've just recently started to hear an internal electric spark type noise coming from the area around both my PCs. Not sure if it's the wall socket or what.

Kind of weird.
Anyone know what this could be?

I'd suggest turning one pc off, and listen for it, if it's not the first, try the second, if not the second turn them both off and try to track the sound.

Altho i think if it were an actual arching of electricity you'd of known a long time ago. I've had power supplies drop a berring and it can move and make noise, or maybe the fans are dirty and kind of lerching. Power supplies are pretty inexpensive nowadays, i wouldn't hesitate to replace them...not only for your pc's sake, but for the safety of your house :|

Look...turn the power off at the wall...then get in and organize all the cables and make sure that there are no loose connections or anything.

Then one at a time turn on and listen to the computers...

You should be able to find out where it is coming from ...

IF the Power Supplies are making funny noises...it may be a case of waiting a while for the noise to go away...if you do not mind so much.

Somtimes the fans get dusty and bits get into the barings...I would not worry too much though...it rarely kills the computer.

One day the computer may not start...the fan is gone and the PSU refuses to start.

Anyway, I would just get in and clean up cables and power points to make sure nothing is loose or what...
