When you turn on the computer, you will see the devices being detected (hard drive, cdrom, etc.), if you look at the bottom, you will see a string of numbers and characters which is called your motherboard ID. something like:
03/19/2004-KT600-8235-6A6LYG0QC-00
You can usually pause that screen so that you can have time to write it down by pressing the "pause break" button which is generally near the scroll lock and print screen buttons.
Try googling for information about that ID and see what you get. Also post it here so that others can help you find info incase you cannot.
From there you can find out if there are any bios or chipset updates for your computer.
You can also get this program called AIDA32 which can tell you all the specifications of your comp.

Here is where you can get AIDA32: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download181.html
Once you download it and install it, go to "Motherboard" --> "Chipset" to see what chipset you have --> then go to "BIOS" to find out which bios you have. |

You should be able to get the updates from Dell. Log on or make a new account and let the program find your computer ID. It works great for my parents (they live millions of parsecs from me). I recommend you use a sure source of power when updating the bios. If there is an electrical storm wait to do that part. Try that if the stuff recommended above doesn't work. |

If the game is freezing and you have a laptop...your machine may be overheating...freezes and resets are often caused by that...
Have you noticed the laptop getting too hot...or have you been in a warm environment when it is happening...
or does it just happen every time no matter what?

2day its finnaly working no problem. I tried unreal 004 and other games with out any problems. I got new version of bios A33 instead of the old version A31. I just went to the dell website and got it in no time.
I also updated the chipset : Chip Set: Intel Mobile Chipset, Driver, Windows 2000, Windows XP, English, Multi System, v.5.00.1012, A06
