I'm having trouble finding task manager, please help (winxp)

Ummm...Ctrl+Alt+Del should do the trick.

Do I press these bottoms while the pc is on, or do I have to reboot first then press the bottom?

Press one at a time until you have them all down. [First press Ctrl, then with your finger still hoding Ctrl down, press and hold Alt. While still holding these keys press the Del key.]

And no, you dont need to restart. You can bring it up whenever you want.
