Weird internet problem

Just the other day I decided that it was time to clean out my computer, so I ran adaware 6, got 180 objects and deleted them all. Then I downloaded a bunch of service packs from windowsupdate and after I restarted my computer, when I tried to log on to my "dial-up" connection as soon as I dial up the explorer would just say _____.com cannot be found even though I'm on the internet.
I tried this a couple of times but I still can't figure out whats wrong
Any help ??

what kind of dial up is it just a standard DUN connection or a 3rd party program like AOL...If it's a 3rf party program then try reinstalling it

Quite possible the spyware you removed killed something.. not uncommon

Reinstall TCP/IP from your windows cd and you should be OK.
