vccleanup.exe and symclnup.exe??? what ARE this proggies??

cleaning out my TEMP folder.. i deleted everything (just to see what would happen)... the next time windows booted, it said it can't find

symclnup.exe
or
vccleanup.exe


now I have no idea waht either of these programs does.. and google searches didn't help me at all...

can any of you?

They both appear to be related to Symantec. This is just a guess but both look like apps that run after installation to clean up left over temp installation files. But I'm not sure why they would be in the temp directory, which I've always believed was fair game for cleaning out. If you are running any Norton progs, I'd contact them.

Best info that I could find is vccleanup.exe is tied to Symantec LiveReg.
