|  Power Down Prob Presario Laptop
I was given a Compaq Presario XL1200 which is having power-down issues. The machine will not even get thru the boot sequence without powering off (battery or a/c). With my "limited" abilities I can only conclude the internal power supply is worn out and having voltage drop. I have noticed this problem common with these during parts searches as well. So I would like to get some ideas before buying parts, etc. Any help appreciated!!!  |
