I thought I would share the programs that I use to secure my computer and see what everyone else is using. By the way, all of these programs are free. Except for on my computer at work I use McAfee 2004 and it cost about $70.
I use spybot, adaware, Bit defender (messaging systems), Zone Alarm, Spyware Blaster, DSO Stop2, and a free virus scan from McAfee called Stinger.
The Spyware Blaster program is incredible! It actually stops spyware from being installed on your PC. I doubt it will be free much longer. You can get it at Download.com under the utilities section.
