Is it neccessary to keep Win Media player? cause I tried to uninstall it and it comes back. I know its a part of Windows, and yet Windows says we can uninstall componants. Why does it come back? and how can I get rid of it? Does it have ads and bugs in it ? cause I heard it did.
What would be a good music player to use without ads and stuff?
Thank you |

Yes, i removed it with add and remove panel but I still had to remove parts of it from explore as add and remove panel suggested. Only thing is that when I delete it from program files, it won't delete. I deletes for a couple seconds but keeps coming back. Maybe there is another way of deleting it but I don't know where, would you or anone else know ? thank you |

It is best not to delete any sort of software/programs in your computer. Use "add/remove program" at the Control Panel. It is a proper way to delete such programs.

WHy are you deleting Windows Media Player? It is a very stable player and is much simpler than WinAMP. I never got win amp to correctly stream music/video, so i just use windows media player(Streamed files), media player classic(avi files), and BSPlayer(ogm files)

I like the old classic Win player (ver. 6) than the version 9. |

Thats one thing. Another, during full screen mode and the seek bar immerges, it did not disturb or shrunk the video display like the version 9.0 does. |

I recommend doing a google search and looking for Media Player Classic. THis will be a lot easier than trying to unistall Media Player 9, plus Media Player Classic can also read WMP9 encoded video files wich WMP6 can't do.
Also if you install Ace Mega Codec Pro, Media Player Classic(WHich is included) can play almost any video file out on the net(But make sure you update the xvid codecs after you install) |
