I wasn't sure if this was the correct forum to post to, if it isn't i apolpgize in advance
About a week ago, I was experiencing some "what i would call" Lag, on the server. I didnt think much about it untill it got to the point where every 5 seconds, the game would freeze up for a second or two.
I decided to do a clean up.
formatted Xp, replaced it, uninstalled steam, Uninstalled Half life, counterstrike, etc, etc,. Reinstalled them all once again.
Now i have a problem.
All the light maps (dust, Dust2, aztec) are Too bright, the graphics are choppy, and blocky.
all the dark maps (prodedgy, backalley) are too dark.
I cannot switch weapons, Im stuck with a left handed weapon, And no matter what i do it wont switch to right.
And The text is unreadable because of the light/ darkness of the maps.
(however, when i equit knife, thats right handed)
I hope theres someone out there that can help. Because i have no clue. Everything on my pc, is set back to what it was when i first installed the game months ago, When it worked perfectly.
(it wont let me change to "open gl" and stays in software mode) I dont know if thats an issue or not. but thought i should mention it
HELP MEEEEEE!! lol
I cant play till someone comes up with some ideas.
