Cool Search (sort of a search engine) taking over computer

Hi, i searched all over the place, but i didn't find anything.

This software i got it due to downloading an app. key from a key gen website.

Now, this software was installed and everytime a banner or bad page loads it pops up with a common result.

I have used ad-aware, spybot and cwshredder (sp?) on this and nothing. It looks like it is in the registry, but i can't seem to find a way to erase it all.

Can someone help fix this? It is getting annoying because besides it popping this coolsearch thing, it also has a popup window showing up from time to time.

Thanks!!

Maybe you should contact the website you got the keygen from. Or contact the people that made the keygen. I'm sure they'll help you with this.

Try asking about it at the SWI forums at http://forums.spywareinfo.com And somebody will certainly help you, they may have you download some utilites, and email some logs, ect... but they will get the offending program off your computer.

try to get your hands on Spy Sweeper or PestPatrol... they're good ones for getting rid of junk like that...
