| Data Recovery...Corrupt?
I accidently erased the main folder for my quickbooks acct. I managed to use file scavenger and recover the main data file *.QBW. Problem is after reinstalling the software and updating everything, it wont recognize the recovered file as a valid file. I keep getting a file damage error. I want to know if recovered files are normally corupt and if there is anyway to repair or salvage my data file. Is there a better way to recover an erased file? Any advice would greatly be appreciated. |

After you delete a file, if anything is written to the disk before you recover it you risk losing data. How big is the file? My experience has been that the larger the file, the less likely it is that you'll get the whole file. |

| A good way to recovery your data
Hello,
I suggest you use EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard to recover files.
Download demo version: http://www.easeus.com/download.htm
You can use "FormatedRecovery" to scan your drive. After the scan is complete, the lost file will be displayed in Data Recovery Wizard, you can select them and recover them.
NOTICE: never install in on the harddisk you want to recover. |
