help restoring outlook backups

i reformatted, and am having trouble restoring backups of the outlook files.. do i do whats mentioned in http://www.techimo.com/forum/t111458.html for that? or is there more to it?

i have all the pst's and stuff, but i cant seem to get it figured out..

i restored the outlook express stuff already, is there a way to restore the outlook stuff to outlook express? i was getting a mapi error when i tried, but i think it was because i had outlook uninstalled at the time.. i will reinstall outlook tomorrow and see if that helps, but im asking incase it wont

i'd be happy to restore the files to outlook, or outlook express, i just need them back in general

i think its outlook 2003, whichever comes with office xp, and its outlook express 6
