I have winxp and I am looking to get into the system configuration utility. Can anyone please help thanks |

I don't know if this is what you mean, but it might help.
Go into the Start Menu, then click on Run. Type in "msconfig" and hit enter.

I am trying to get into the configuration utility to clear the check boxes for the programs, that I dont want to load every time windows loads. |

right click on my computer, select manage, select services. use the guide at www.blackviper.com to help you through these services, if these are the programs you mean.
