Spyware troubles....help!

I seem to be getting a more aggressive form of spyware, AdAware keeps finding reg keys with a VX2 name. I keep removing through adaware, and they show right back up after a reboot. All adaware reference files are up to date, all norton antivirus files are up to date and a full system scan shows no viruses. I also run spybot.

Is this something new? I have never seen this.

Have you updated Ad-aware recently? Whenever I feel it's time to scan for spyware I always check for updates first. Check your Task Manager and see what's running in the background. Research anything you don't recognize and get rid of it if it's not legit. Also, reboot and try running it in Safe Mode, reboot and run it again.

go to www.merijn.org and download the CWShredder. Try that. It helped get rid of all the spyware that ad-aware couldn't get rid of. Hope this helps......

pestpatrol is good. I had similar problem. I didn't buy pest patrol but used intructions given at the site and manually removed entries from various places.
Try it, someone has already provided you link.
