| Anyone tell me where Emachine tech support/driver downloads are?
Hi all,
Working on an Emachine eTower series, 633id, and I can't find any updated driver, bios, or manual downloads. I know they were purchased by Gateway, but their site isn't any help either. The only thing their Tech Support site'll give me is this: http://www.emachines.com/support/sup...eTower%20633id
Any ideas as to where I can get any info? I Googled it only to be led many times back to the same tech support link as above.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks JP. You're right, weird places indeed. Still don't have the options I want, and can't believe the freaking Emachine site has NO SUPPORT FOR THEIR OWN MACHINES!!??!! |

I may have what you need. I got a driver cd from Compgeeks with some machines I bought and it has drivers for eMachines 6xx, there is one folder labeled model 633. It has sub folders MB, Sound, Video, Modem. Then I've also got a Keyboard folder on the cd. |

Got an E-tower 500ix dumped on me yesterday. Had spent a couple of hours trying to find drivers and lo'n'behold what appears at TECHIMO today??? Someone else with same problem...no support from gateway/emach.
Hoping the links provided earlier will help with my problem. PCI controller problem. Running W98. Tried various methods to remedy but to no avail as yet. Owners are on dial-up and with PCI controller not working neither does modem (PCI modem) so have to run back and forth to get drivers/support.
Certainly has convinced me that Gateway/emachs are still junk as they have been in the past. |
