Which spyware removal tools have you tried? This one might be a case for CWShredder. |

HEY, YOU GOT PLENTY OF SEARCH ENGINES TO USE THOUGH....
for real, i would use spybot or something to see if you can erase them, i had a huge pop up problem this morning...(didn't sound to good), but anyway, i had Spyhunter enabled and ran it and it kept finding the same thing over and over and i would erase it, but there it was again..Spybot Search and Destroy got rid of all of it...great free software tool!!! |

Definetely try CWShredder.
Also, use Ad-Aware, Spybot - S&D.
My brother had the same thing I think.
Those programs mentioned above didnt delete these search bars/tool bars.
What actually did delete them though was using Pest Patrol and SpySweeper.
Both are not freeware though, and the trials don't delete all the spyware it detects I think.

can you goto control panel add-remove programs...usually the google toolbar and the msn toolbar are listed there, you might be able to erase them there... |

Messenger Plus! is a pain.
In it's install, you have two options of its "advertisement"
To accept the terms and install the spyware or to deny it and just install the software itself.
The thing is, it looks exactly like the screen in most of the programs where you have to accept the EULA.
When I installed it in my computer I didn't read anything and just accepted.
This program installed itself, and a bunch of spyware.
Kaspersky even detected a trojan after the install.
In my opinion, this is not advertisement. This is malicious content.
It shouldn't be integrated with the install of Messenger Plus! at all.
I had to run my Antivirus scan, Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D, etc.
I do not recommend this program at all. It's just not worth it.
I have many friends that have it and are not aware of the consequences.
They have their computers full with viruses, spyware, and trojans.
They probably did like me, just accepted the terms without reading anything.
I was lucky that I had protection, but most of my friends don't have at all.
