Connecting via RCA TV-OUT Port

My old Packard Bell EasyNote VX has a TV-Out port. I want to connect this to a 7inch TV/Monitor from AllCam. The man from AllCam tells me that I connect and use the A/V option on the 7inch. This I have done and get no picture. He tells me I need to adjust the settings for the video card in the computer. I can find no reference in the computer manual as to how to do this. Help please

My intention is to use the Notebook with maps on CD and PMCIA flash GPS card in the Notebook for in car GPS, with the 7in screen dashboard mounted.

Right click on the desktop and select properties, then go to the settings tab. Click Advanced and hunt around for the TV out settings. Odds are you would have to set it up to "clone" your monitor screen. Also, make sure your resolution is set to 640X480 or 800X600. Try that and let us know if it worked.

Plus, on most graphics cards (particularly the older ones), the TV set needs to be connected and powered on _before_ you power up the PC system. And: The TV set must put the correct electrical load onto the signal wire, else the graphics card won't detect it.

i got a magnavox vcr/dvd combo from a friend with no manual and could't hook it up so I called maganavox tech, well they helped me hook up that, after telling me to unhook other cables from my RCA TV and satellite.So they had to do a manual scan for my TV but didn't have anything for RCA to do a scan. They informed to call RCA and have you to run a manual scan for me to get my TV up and running again PLEASE HELP[it's been since 7pm]

A friend gave me a magnavox vcr/combo but no remote, so I called Magnanox tech to help me with the connection to my RCA 52in TV , well during the process they had me to disconnect my TV and Satellite which everything was working with my other VCR but I lost that remote,well they had to do a manual scan for my TV but didn't have the paper work , so they told me to call RCA and ask for a manual scan , because right now I have no TV programming and Satellite programming. Please Help
