USB Trackman Marble going dead?
I have this Logitech trackman Marble and its about 2 years old or less. I have never had a issue with Logitech before so I am wondering if this is a USB issue or something.
Here's whats going on, when I am using the mouse it the curser just locks on the screen all the buttons work but can't move the curser unless I unplug and replug the USB connector.
Before I run out and buy another one I wanted to see of there might be a fix. I took another Trackman I have on another machine (its a PS2 connector) and there is no problem thats why I was guessing it may be USB related.
Any Suggestions?

Most logitech pointing devices that work on USB also work on PS/2 with an adapter. Doesn't yours work that way? I don't know what I'd do without my original Trackman Marble FX, so I hope you get it ironed out soon!
. Check the logitech site for FAQs or maybe to contact their tech support.

Oh and I tried Logitech Mmm been little over 2 months and no response from their customer service tech support. I even tried to bump my old thread on the subject and amazingly it had vanished? This was of course after they contacted me saying they had passed my problems along to their tech support... I think perhaps its a issue they are aware of yet unable to fix.

Ive used Logitech exclusively for years, try reinstalling their LATEST software for your mouse, if that dont do it call them rather then email them---tell them about how satisfied you are all with their products youve purchased and cant believe you're having a problem with one of their always reliable mice---ive had them replace an item twice, just from a simple call---the last one I did was a wheelclick problem on a wireless trackball, they told me to just throw the old one away when the new one arrived---another time they sent me a replacement keyboard along with a free Rumblepad for my "troubles'---good company as far as im concerned...

Whine, whine...:p Going from lifting weights (which I love) to triathlon training mode isn't a whole lot of fun. I'm starting to enjoy the swimming a little bit, but running is teh suck.
