Windows Sp 2, Will Not Download
hey guys
for some reason, i can not download windows SP2, it gives me this error
"Windows Service Pack Setup has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
any thoughts guys

Where did you downloaded SP2 from?

There was a link floating around here about ordering a free CD of SP2, try a search, or maybe someone will have the link handy.

Turn on your automatic updates, it will automatic install it for you., or windows updated

September 11th, 2004, 01:04 AM #7I do believe that the error he got was during a windows update.. the link I provided above downloads it directly to your computer so you can do an install from your hard drive directly.
