I have this little nasty bit of spyware entrenched on my comp. I found it while using spy-bot and ad-aware. It wont remove with the "add or remove programs'' method, nor can I remove it via search. Any ideas on how to clean it out?

Are you running WinXP or Win ME? If so and you have system restore running disable system restore then run your antispyware programs.

Get this.

I assume you have AOL Instant Messenger? If so, that program will clear out all that crap and take those stupid ads away at the same time. Just make sure when you're installing to uncheck the WildTangent crap. It will also provide you with a link to get the newest version of AIM.

If you don't have AIM, then I don't know what to tell you.

Thanx for the info. My kids are big on the AIM thing, so now I know where this came from. I can live without it. Ill use caution next time an IM gets installed! ps:cool linkage!
