| PC turns off by itself
My computer keeps turning off by itself . it usually happens after about 40 mins but sometimes it only takes 1. After it turns off it woont turn back on for about 10 mins. I dont thinks its a overheating problem b/c i left the cases open today when it was 50 degrees and it still happened. Does this sound like a brocken PSU? |

Yes sounds like a bad PSU. Possibly one that does not have enough power for your rig. Posting your system specs might help.

Have you tried unplugging non-essential drives (extra CD drives and extra hard drives) with the same effect? |

Sounds to me like when your hard drive or your optical drives start cranking up the wattage your PSU fails. |

I would not try that. I would just spend the money to buy a new power supply and test it out. Wouldn't it be worth it to get rid of your problems? |

Anyone have a problem with Shuttle AK32E rebooting for no apparent reason?
Will run forever idling, but running a virus checker or trying to play a game - reboots after about 5 min of operation. Stripped down to CD, 2 HD, new memory that checks out OK using MS memtester. |
