Well a few things... first off... thats a nice case.. Ive used 2... but they come with pure garbage power supply's
I would swap the 2700+ for a 2500+ negligable diference in performance
are you using this for any kind of gaming?

Not any serious gaming, just a game here and there.

i would suggest the OCZ ram...same price and you can utalize the Dual Channel the board has, plus i have had good luck with OCZ ram also...Also i agree with the cpu...get a Athlon XP2500...with the ram and that board, you can raise your FSB to 200 and overclock the cpu to run at athlon xp3200 speeds (2.2ghz).

depending on your gaming needs...the FX5200 128 seems to be a fine card..but if your more demanding on your FPS etc....look at a higher end card...

well if you don't plan to overclock there is no real need for that board . you can save alot of money by picking a different one . going with a different board will give you the money for a better video card alone . i agree with the xp2500 .
as for sata i would say unless your going to go with the 10k rpm raptors your not really going to see a difference in speed . and i would also sugest the seagate drives for the 5 year warranty on them now . so here is my sugestions

your case 69.99 shiiped ( 54$ + 15.99 )

motherboard :
without sata 60$ shipped (55$ plus 5$ shipping )

with sata 74.18 shipped

the memory you picked is fine 87.99 shipped

hard drive
seagate 120 non sata 83.75 shipped

seagate sata 90$ shipped

your dvd burner is fine , allbe it that you will have a hard time finding media at the moment but that will change in time . 84$ shipped

so if you go with my sugesstion you get this

non sata = 385.73 shipped before the video card
sata = 406 16 shipped before the video card

to keep it under 500$ i would go with this for video

for the non sata i would go with one of these cards
ati 9600 pro 114.99 shipped
or
nvidia fx5700 113.99 shipped

the nvidia card will get ya right around 500$ , like a buck or to over . i would even do them both for the sata system it will only put ya 20$ over budget . so for a max of 520$ there ya go . it was hard to do with the buggy hyperlinking ...

duh forgot the cpu .... well hows 610 then hahaha . its late i will shut up and go to bed now .

hope this helps .
