| Help get rid of Java Virus
Well, I have the JAVA.BYTE A virus and it won't go away. Redfury and Bingo have also told me that they both have the same virus.
I have scanned with AVG and Microtrend Anti Virus and neither of the two can get rid of it.
I also think the virus is reloading spyware programs because i will clean my system using Ad-Aware and Spybot, but the next day the same spyware will be back.
Does anyone have any programs to suggest that will get rid of this virus?
Thanks,
-Biz

Well teh thing is, AVG picked up PART of the virus, and deleted that part. Then I ran a scan using Microtrend after that and it found 26 more entries, but said they were uncleanable. AVG is no longer able to detect the virus, only Microtrend. |

Try antivir becausei had a virus that will close any program that has the word virus or monitor. When it finds a virus it calls it a vir and you can rename it delete it fixit.... and so on it is up to date and guess what.... its free. Try that because stupid scripters make the virus nonearsable when the word virsus is mentioned. herer is a link http://www.freeav.com/

I have a vested interest in this as well. AVG detects it, but cannot remove it. Quite perplexing. |

Go there and use ActiveScan, it is free, and if it picks up viruses it will removed them for you if it can.

Hopfully this removed them all.
I will scan some more using other programs tomorrow. |
