You can take off the keyboard, but it would be a pain to clean it! I'd look into replaceing it unless you broke. You could take it out and clean with rubbing alchol, but it would not be fun. You could just buy a regular keyboard and plug it into the laptop, but you would lose the portablity of it.

Go buy a usb keyboard (or really even just a regular one, dont laptops have the ports on the back for them too?). Just plug it into the back of your laptop til you can figure out a way to get the keyboard on it working again (better than going to the library ). Call dell tech. support, see what options they have to fix it.
