System Lock - Possibly Hardware

Hi Everyone,

I'm having problems with a computer freezing up. No video output, keyboard or mouse output, etc. Most times, the red HD light remains on, which I then have to power off via power button...I've tried replacing the CPU, tried a different RAM stick, as well as a new hard drive, but the problem keeps occuring. Can anyone guide me in a direction to how I can determine what this is and fix it? I'm thinking MB...

Windows 2K Pro SP2, did nothing to it when it started freezing, it is used as a graphic rendering node, so once I had it set up, i left it alone for two years...thanks for the post, I'll check it out.
