what power supply would you all suggest for my system :
athlon 64 3200+
2x 512 viking pc3200
pci ge force mx4000
120gb hd
Dvd drive
Cd drive
floppy
500 Watt X-Connect ATX Power Supply ?? ** Looks cool  |

450w+ would be fine, only a meaty graphics card needs more (nvidia recommend 500w to run well!!)

yeah 450 will do just fin even 400 will do it but isuggest that you try to get the 450 in a good brand like antec or thermaltake. |

my compter freezes alot.. some 9c error... i switched the rams and found out it wasnt the rams fault... do you'll suppose its the PSU? |

hmm...9c sounds like direct x 9c, its a total guess tho, hav you got any spare psu's? try lending one and see if you get same errors  |

also check you temperatures in the bios....maybe a heat problem
is there any pattern to the freezes? for instance it happens exactly 9 minutes from bootup...or only during heavy gaming etc?
otherwise, when people have random freezes and lockups usually one suspects the ram or power supply....so you may be right about the psu

I like the new modular style that allows you to "plug-in" the wires you need, no longer do you have that rats nest and the problems of trying to hide it---
