Blinking and changing resolution Monitor
Help -
My Sony LCD monitor blinks to a black screen and changes resolution by itself in the process. I have tried many, many things any suggestions?

What are the many, many things that you have tried?
Have you lowered the refresh rate?

I've checked the cable, unhooked and rehooked, plugged into wall instead of surge protector, downloaded updates, and re-installed the montior. It seems to be getting worse.

How old is the monitor?
You said you downloaded updates? You are referring to video drivers?
What is your video card?

The monitor is less than 2 years old. I've downloaded driver updates and service pack.
My video card is a NVIDIA Gforce 4 MX440.
